Concerts, eisteddfodau, plays, clubs and receptions were so popular in the Talybont district in the past that the following venues were supported: the Church Hall, the Iron Church, exterior “sheds” at the Usk and Traveller’s Rest, upstairs rooms at the White Hart and the Star Buildings, the vestries at Benaiah, Bethania, Peniel and Aber chapels, and the Lyndeburg (Harris) Hall. In 2020 the Henderson Hall,which has been in existence for 50 years, meets the needs of the locality admirably.
